  WWII British/Canadian flare pistol .  This model was designed for launching flares from heavy aircraft via launching ports.  This example is fitted with an original 8 1/2" barrel extension from WWII.  The barrel extension enabled the pistol to be used for ground usage and protected the user. An excellent example, clear markings and finish.  The left grip has a small chip at the base .  A non firearm flare pistol .  (Non Firearm)
