- Description:
German holster rig dated 1941 built for the Walther P-38. The holster (code JoA) was built in Dresden by Co Koffer-Taschenfabrik. This example was probably captured by a Canadian solder as the name Rogers is scratched on the inside of the holster body. The flap and body show six small holes where badges were probably pinned by the solder that captured it. The holster is mounted on a 2" belt and shoulder strap. The belt is stipled with brass fittings that might suggets this rig might have been taken from a town or city police officer. A neat piece for the WW2 collection. A serious cleaning would greatly improve this item.
