WW2 Canadian Navy Inscribed Chafing Dish

- Description:
A neat piece of WW2 Canadian Militaria. This piece is a silver plate chafing dish with inscription. Engraved on the cover is RCNR Louisbourg Naval Base over CDV and Mrs. G.A. Burton 1943-1944. Internet search reveals very little. It would appear that there may have been a small RCNR or small Canadian Navy ship, station at Louisbourg which is an ice free port at some time during WWII. Neat item in excellent condition.
