• Description:

  A Mauser model 1903 built for Turkey, this piece shows an Oberndorf mark on the left of the receiver.  These rifles were later converted from  7.65 x 53 to the standard 8mm Mauser round.  This piece shows a bright excellent bore.  On the receiver ring is the Ankara marking and the 1935 date.  This example shows better than average condition.  The metal shows an even blue grey and no pitting.  The wood is very sound with no cracks or breaks.  This piece comes with an AS-FA marked correct bayonet and scabbard.  This was the primary Turkish rifle in WW1.  A piece for the Mauser or bolt action collector.  Non Restricted
