  This WW1 piece was probably Canadian issue in WW1. This piece bears the inventor's name and patt No 503324. The piece shows British proofs a stamping S4 on the frame and original paint on the grip panels 15 BN (Battalion ) on the left and No 11 on the right. early serial #5305. This piece was sourced out of Ontario and was probably issued to the Canadian 15h Battalion. Mechanically sound and in as found condition . A very good WW1 flare pistol (not subject to License).
