28 Gauge Ranger Skeet introduced in 1937 and discontinued in 1939. A very scarce box of Winchester Ranger 28 Gauge Skeet cartridges. This full box shows the 25 original rounds headstamped Winchester No 28 product USA over Ranger. All marked 2 1/4 3/4 oz No 9 shot, red /orange paper shells. The box has the factory warning not to use the cartridges in Damascus guns etc. The interior flaps advertises the Model 12, 97 & 21 shotguns . The exterior is sound with edge wear and age staining . A scarce Winchester box.
