  Winchester Model 88 rifle, first year production, serial # 12002.  This example shows a bright excellent bore, 95% plus original finish on metal and wood.  There are only a few minor spots of staining on the top lower end of the receiver.  This piece shows original factory butt plate, diamond cut checkering and factory swivels.  An excellent example of a 1st year production Model 88 Winchester built in 1955.
