• Description:

  Winchester Cooey Model 39 - collector grade.  This piece appears to be an early example of the 39 built soon after the Winchester take over.  The barrel markings shows the "Made in Canada" and the small Winchester stamping.  The stock shows the typical Winchester red brown color and the early style of barrel retention screw.  The blue is 98% original, the bolt is the early type.  The wood rates excellent with raised grain.  The bore rates as bright excellent .  An above average example for the shooter or the Winchester/Cooey collector.
