• Description:

  Winchester Model 1897 SN 600112 built 1916.  The barrel is 32", full chok, 12 gauge with a bright very good to excellent bore.  The finish rates at 70% plus original blue with only a few minor spots of light pitting mostly at the carry points.  The take down action is tight, smooth and mechanically sound.  All markings are clear and crisp.  This piece shows original wood which shows normal usage, minor marks and a minor solid repaired crack at the top of the wrist.  The butt plate is a replaced Winchester piece.  Overall a very good example.
