  Winchester 1895 Sn 6517 built in 1897.  This rifle is mechanically sound, overall grey blue finish with sound wood.  This rifle is being sold as parts due to the fact that the barrel shows no address or caliber markings.  The 303 cartridge chambers and ejects but we will not suggest that this is the correct cartridge.  Originally, this serial range rifle was built in 3 calibers- 30-40, 38-72, 40-72 with the 303 caliber added in 1898. The 25 1/2" barrel shows an added ramp sight and a light corroded, shootable bore.  Sold on a non returnable basis as parts item.
