  SN 198323 is a 1902 built 44 caliber 1892 rifle. This piece shows the barrel and mag cut back to 19 inches.  The bore rates at very good with light corrosion and sound shootable rifling.  This piece could be used as an inexpensive shooter or as a parts gun.  The rifle shows the typical smooth working action that the 92 was noted for.  The butt stock shows a secure crack on the right side and a screw through the wrist.  Despite the above, this is a great parts or project rifle.  Sold as parts on a no return basis.
