• Description:

  SN 152569 is a 1912 built Model 1886 in 33 WCF caliber.  The 24" barrel shows a brig, very good plus bore with strong rifling and slight corrosion.  The barrel markings are clear as are the tang markings.  The left side of the receiver shows 4 screws where a prior owner had a scope mount at some point in time.  The action is sound and tight.  The wood is all original, without cracks and no evidence of sanding.  A sound example of a 1/2 mag,1886 rifle. Both the rear sight and the front are Marbles.
