• Description:

  SN 120400 is a refinished 40-65 Model 1886 built in 1899.  This 40-65 shows a bright very good and very shootable bore, strong rifling and light corrosion.  Both the metal and wood were refinished for a prior owner.  This was unfortunate as a close examination indicates the refinish was not necessary.  This example shows a smooth tight action.  This is still a very nice 1886 display piece, shooter or parts gun.  Non restricted status.
