  SN 53772 is a Winchester 1886 built 1891 in 45-90 caliber.  This example shows a 26" octagonal barrel.  Unfortunately the barrel shows overall corrosion and a ring forward of the barrel address.  This is an attractive rifle with a jeweled bolt, loading gate and skip checkered wood.  The action is smooth and tight.  This rifle would make an attractive display piece but is not recommended for shooting unless it is examined and tested by a licensed gunsmith.  A sound parts or display piece.  The finish suggest that of the late Herb Sobeck of Moncton NB.
