• Description:

  1894 Deluxe model that has seen hard usage.  The rifle a 24" take down barrel with light corrosion, but very shootable 32 WS bore.  The finish overall shows light pitting especially on the receiver.  The wood was deluxe with checkering, but sanded by some previous owner.  The butt plate was replaced with a non factory piece.  The rear sight is from a modern Winchester.  The tang on the right side shows a number 26454 R.  The original serial number appears to have been filed off many years ago. This rifle was registered under the previous law as NSN.  The action works smoothly.  This may be a great parts gun or a restoration project due to the less common 1894 features associated with a deluxe rifle.  ( non restricted)
