This pistol was built by William Egan, one of the British provincial makers of Bradford Yorks, 1829-1857. This example shows an 8 1/4" barrel and an overall length of 14", a smooth bore of 52 caliber. The barrel shows Bradford on the barrel and the metal remains "in the white". The sound stock with sound checkering and original rammer shows the original dealers association sticker. This is a true example of a coach or travelling pistol. A less than common antique pistol to be found in today's antique market. PAL not required to purchase or own.
