  SN 343648 is a vintage High Standard Field King 22 caliber pistol built in 1953/54.  This classic 22 auto shows a 6 3/4" and a 4 1/2" barrel.  Both barrels show bright excellent bores.  The pistol's finish and condition rate at 98% plus.  This pistol was owned and uses by one of Canada's most known gunners and authors, Jon Kirton.  This piece comes in a wood case built by Jon to accomodate the pistol. It also shows a Parker Hale rod and an empty cartridge box.  In addition, this lot includes the original factory box serial numbered to the pistol .(Restricted Status)
