  • Description:

We are pleased to offer a ultra rare semi-auto action for the 1908 Mondragon.  This rifle was designed by a Mexican military officer and built by Sig Neuhausen Switzerland.  Our research indicated that there were only 400 of the rifles delivered to Mexico in 1909.  This rifle was the very first military issued semi-auto issued and used by any nation.  This action is without question what remains of one of the rifles acquired from Sig and used by Germany in WW1.  I acquired this action many years ago and simply don't recall the circumstances of the acquisition. This part may well have been broguht back from Europe by a Canadian service man at some point in time.  This action shows the serial #1108 on the bolt, handle and action.  The example of surviving rifles all have been sold for multiple thousands of dollars.  We have not found an action such as this for sale.  This is a very unique and rare item to be offered to the Canadian collector community.  Note:a PAL is required because of its original receiver.
