  NS 3589 with matching belt at the time of Turkish conversion . These were converted in Turkey from surplus French Berthier model 1907/15 long rifles. These were converted in small numbers to arm the Turkey Forestry Unit. caliber 8 X 51 R lebel, bright very good plus bore, 3 round magazine . This carbine comes with its original sling. This conversion took place in 1948.
