SN 7388 is a Turkish rebuilt 1888 commission rifle. It was rebuilt in Turkey for 8x57 mm Mauser in 1938. The piece shows a 29" barrel with the Turkish Ankara marked breech. Built 1938-1945, this Turkish Mauser shows a bright VG to excellent bore which is uncommon with most Turkish military rifles. In addition, it shows matching numbers on the bolt.
