SN 10383 is a single shot Swedish Model 1867/89 rifle. All of these Rolling Block rifles were converted to the 8 x 58 Model "Danish Kray" cartridge by the Carl Gustafs factory to the smokeless 8 x 58 caliber round. This example shows a bright, very good bore with strong rifling. This rifle was originally built in 1870 , converted in 1895 and assigned serial # 13042. All the parts show the original matching serial # 10383. The barrel shows it's original blue, the receiver shows grey remnants of case colour. This example shows a missing extractor, but the extractor screw is included with the rifle. An item for the military rifle, Swedish or Rolling Block collection.
