An excellent example of an Enfield/Snider bayonet as issued to the St. John New Brunswick militia. The bayonet shows an excellent plus blade and a socket showing original finish. The socket is marked 62 over 46. This bayonet rides in an original issue scabbard marked 62 over 70. The leather shows original stitching and a WD broad arrow marking. An excellent example of a bayonet as issued to one of Canada's oldest militia units.
