• Description:

  SN 8595 is a 6.5 x 55 Swedish carbine.  This carbine was mounted with a commercial stock by or for a prior owner.  This piece shows it's original 17 1/2" barrel with a bright very good bore (sound rifling and light corrosion).  The bolt shows a 3 digit serial #695.  This piece may have been mis-matched at the time of  it's military usage or shipping to the Canadian importer (International Firearms Montreal).  A sound and now scarce 1894 carbine built in 1901.  A neat rifle in 6.5x55 caliber.  The stock is a commercial ram-line.  Non restricted.
