Original spear showing a 7" double edged blade. The blade shows corrosion from the tip down approximately 3". Iron shaft and blade are secured by approximately 19 multi strand copper wire. The wire wrap suggests this might have been built by an armory. The shaft is about 47". However, we don't know if this was the original lenght or it has been shortened. Overall a genuine piece that appears to be 150 plus years old.
