• Description:

  Antique Snider MK2 star.  This long rifle shows a bright very good plus to excellent bore.  The blue is original showing an overall even dull finish.  The lock shows clear markings crown, 1864 Enfield.  The wood is sound, showing overall trace of original finish, service usage marks and clear Enfield & DC diamond marking.  Original rod and chained snap cap.  The tang is marked 83 over 76 (Infantry Battilion Joliette PQ issue #76).  A nice clean example that is mounted with a later Canadian 1915 leather sling.
