• Description:

  Canadian issue antique MKIII Snider as marked  and issued to the Carleton Regiment from Woodstock, NB.  This is an excellent example of a DC marked Mark III Snider.  SN 1422 with a matching 422 on the breech which shows an excellent grey case color and deep clear inspector marks.  The barrel shows an excellent blue finish with the steel and Gov. markings.  The lock is correct and original dated 1860 with muted color.  The wood remains in vert good to excellent condition with clear markings and a small GD former owners initial a head of the triggerguard. The MKIII is the best choice in Snider weapons due to the steel barrel.  An excellent example of a Snider as issued to a New Brunswick unit.  Antique- no transfer required.
