• Description:

  SN FC 78308 is an original police issued Model 3000 shotgun.  This S&W shows a 20" cylinder bore, 12 gauge barrel, clear S&W markings and overall very good to excellent Parkerized finish.  The left side of the receiver and the butt shows a defaced police marking.  Our examination suggests that it was surplus, an Ontario provincial police gun.  This example shows a bright excellent bore and a magazine extension.  Original Parkerized finish and excellent wood.  This model S&W was built under contract by Howa in Japan for Smith and Wesson .  One of the scarcer police guns as issued to a Canadian Police Dept.  An item for the S&W or police collection.
