Small Handgun Flask By Hawksley

• Description:

  C & JW Hawksley, an English flask maker, 1845 to 1889 when the firm was converted to a limited company. This flask shows an overall length of 4 1/2" base to top of spout which is graduated 5/16,1/4 & 3/16 drams, C & JW Hawksley name on top.  Body is overall 3".  This flask remains in its "as found "condition.  It has not been cleaned or polished.  An ideal and scarce flask for that small to medium sized cased handgun.  Similar flasks are found on pages 274-75 of "The Powder Flask Book" by Riling.
