Winchester M-14 Deactivated Rifle

• Description:

  A very scarce Winchester rifle especially on the Canadian market.  This rifle shows the very early serial number 20128 built at the very start of the M-14 production by Winchester.  This rifle was built in the 1960-61 production that started at SN 19214 and ended at SN 54213. (Total of 35000 1st year of production).  The full auto component was removed prior to importation by a prior owner/dealer.  This rifle has since been totally deactivated to meet and exceed all of the current Canadian standards.  The magazine has been modified to permit removal.  An unmodified magazine cannot be secured in the magazine well.  This rifle shows all of it's correct markings on the wood and receiver.  The metal shows it's obvious issue and usage marks.  This M-14 may well have been issued and seen service in the early Viet-Nam war era.  This deactivated rifle would be a great addition to a Winchester or 20th century military rifle collection.
