Canada adopted the FN rifle in September 1956 and we are pleased to offer a first year production 1956 dated FN bayonet. This example shows an excellent plus blade, finish and scabbard. The base of the blade shows an engraved Canadian maple leaf above the CA mark and 1956 date. Production of the rifle started in September so we can only assume the bayonet production started in same time frame. A scarce and great condition example.
