Antique Saxton percussion gun showing a 40" 10 gauge barrel with very light corrosion and appearing to be quite shootable. The barrel shows 11" of heavy octagon construction to the ring and the balance 28 3/4" to the muzzle is round. The piece shows very good plus wood with no cracks or repairs and original checkering. The rammer is a current modern built piece while the lock is original and shows a sound smooth action. Overall length is 56". A great item for wall mounting or black powder shooting. Note: Any item this age should be checked by a gunsmith prior to shooting of the item.
