  SN 208827 is a Savage Model 99-G in 250-3000.  This piece shows a 22" light tapered take down barrel.  The bore rates very good to low excellent.  This example shows the original sights, a buttplate (plain steel surrated sg plate), pistol grip cap and checkering.  This rifle show all original finish with obvious usage wear, clear markings and faded case color on the lever.  The wood is very sound showing original finish and no cracks.  This was the last take-down model produced by Savage.
