  SN 157557 is a 1914 built 99 H in 22HP.  This piece is a takedown rifle with a 20" barrel.  A relatively scarce Model 99 in Canada.  The rifle shows an old refinish, sound action and worn bore.  A good piece for the rebuilder or as a representative piece in a Savage 99  collection.  This model was built from 1905 to 1915.
