  SN 5K26225 is another relatively scarce S&W, Model 17-3, 22 caliber revolver. This S&W was purchased for training and is factory marked AUX. R.C.M.P. B.C.  " Arms and Accroutrements of the Mounted Police "on page 72, shows the S&W K22.  Klancher noted that all S&W handguns delivered after Oct. 1967 have factory impressed RCMP stamp.  This is one of a small group acquired for training the RCMP AUX in BC.  This example shows 98% original finish and matching numbers.  Bright excellent bore.  This S&W is collector quality for S&W or RCMP collectors.  This piece comes in a correct box but not numbered to the gun.
