• Description:

  SN 122526 is one of the scarcer Ruger .44 magnum carbines.  This piece is the International with the full wood Mannlicher style of stock.  This carbine was built in 1967 but remains in excellent condition.  The International was introduced in 1960 and discontinued in 1971.  The metal retains most of its original blue (97%). There are a few minor blemishes around the factory tap holes on the barrel.  There is an addition pair of holes above the cocking piece that were installed to accomodate a different scope mount. Bright excellent 12 groove rifling .  The wood finish is all original .  This stock is fittd with a European basket weaved leather sling.  An overall excellent example of a relatively scarce Ruger in Canada.  A piece for the serious hunter or Ruger collector.
