  • Description:

Ross M-10 NSN is a cut back Ross rifle from the time of weapon shortages at the start of WW2.  This example shows a 20 3/4" barrel which is properly crowned and shows a bright excellent bore.  This Ross shows both Canadian and British proofs.  The butt plate tang is marked with a S and #366.  These cut Ross rifles were used as camp guard and railway guard guns.  The stock is mounted with original military swivels.  We have had railway marked examples.  This piece is not marked but appears to be correct. Cut examples are noted on page 89 &190 of "The Ross Rifle Story'" by our friend, John Chadwick et al.
