  Excellent example of a Ross bayonet MKII with the modified blade. This bayonet blade was an authorized change in Oct of 1915. This piece shows an excellent blade and wood scales. The right shows HR over 69 Reg mark. The right shows the #4 inspectors mark as does the pommel, as well as the C broad arrow and the 6/16 date. The scabbard shows a modified frog and an unknown marking on the scabbard GWVA possibly (Glasgow Volunteer Artillery) . This bayonet may be a WWII reissue. A clean excellent example.
