  Reference: see page 332 "The Ross Rifle Story", plate # 369A Ross Bayonet and scabbard as used aboard the H.M.S. Canada.  This example shows a bright excellent blade. The cross guard shows the DA #103. All of the Ross bayonet scabbards were modified for use by the Royal Navy.  Note: the corroded front face probably caused by salt air exposure.  See also page 68 aforesaid under Chile.  A relatively scarce Ross bayonet assoociated with the H.M.S. Canada.
