  This modern flintlock was built by Mireku in Japan.  This pistol was built circa late 1860's.  The barrel is 10", 54 caliber ball, heavy construction thick barrel.  The fittings are all brass, The lock shows a U.S. eagle.  Overall this piece is similar to a U.S. Harpers Ferry.  This piece was purchased about 50 years ago and remains unfired.  This piece weighs 3.2 lbs which is heavier than the later Italian Repos.  A sound modern flintlock pistol. A licensed gunsmith should be consulted prior to shooting and the correct changes aand loads be determined and test fired.  Overall excellent metal and wood.  (Restricted Status)
