• Description:

  This is a Remington Model 31 TC (Trap with C Grade wood) pump action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge.  Vent Rib barrel is 30" with a very good plus/near excellent bright strong bore with some stubborn fouling near the muzzle end.   Barrel is choked FULL and will accept 2 3/4" or shorter shells.  Metal surfaces are blued and retain about 95% coverage on the receiver with about 90% coverage on the barrel along with scattered spots of rust, oxidation staining and some tiny pinpricks.  The high comb stock and forend are of C grade wood.  Both are checkered and show flaking finish heaviest on the stock with a 4" repaired crack on the breech end/left side of the forend.  The bottom of the pistol grip has an engraved silver circular escutcheon that reads "ETCHEN SPECIAL & WBB"  A CHIEFTAN recoil pad gives a LOP of 13 3/4".
