• Description:

  This is a used Remington Model 12A pump action rifle chambered in 22 S L & LR.  Barrel has been cut to 21 3/4" with a fair bore showing reasonably strong rifling but also light to moderate pitting.  Metal surfaces have been cleaned to primarily a gun metal gray patina with a splotchy salt/pepper appearance.  The buttstock and forend have scattered light marks and dings...there is some chipping behind the left forend screw.  Right forend screw is missing.   Buttplate is a replacement.  The rear sight has been modified and the screw securing it to the base is missing a section of the head.
