  SN 5546051 is a scarce semi auto 16 gauge shotgun  Model 11-48.  This model was built from 1949 to 1968.  This piece shows a bright excellent 16 gauge bore, full choke, 2 3/4 or shorter shells.  The blue remains at 97% original with a few minor spots of very light pitting and a small Amp engraved in the receiver above the serial number.  The wood rates as excellent with a replaced Remington buttstock 13 1/2 LOP.  Also included is its' original buttstock and bolt.  The stock was cut to a 12" LOP.  A great ladies or starter shotgun.
