  • Description:

This antique flintlock shows a reconverted lock originally built by R. Ashmor.  The maker was London gunsmith 1763-1775.  The lock appears to be a replacement and not original to the gun.  The piece shows a 34" barrel of 52 caliber.  The barrel shows all the evidence of being reconverted from percussion to flint.  This antique was probably built as a trade gun widely used in Quebec in the 1800's.  This item is being sold as an inexpensive wall hanger or a a decoration piece.  No PAL required to purchase or own.
