Quebec Sourced Indian Trade Gun

This antique flintlock shows a reconverted lock originally built by R. Ashmor. The maker was London gunsmith 1763-1775. The lock appears to be a replacement and not original to the gun. The piece shows a 34" barrel of 52 caliber. The barrel shows all the evidence of being reconverted from percussion to flint. This antique was probably built as a trade gun widely used in Quebec in the 1800's. This item is being sold as an inexpensive wall hanger or a a decoration piece. No PAL required to purchase or own.
