• Description:

  A reconstructed British musket using an assortment of parts.  This musket shows a rebuilt plate marked Vernov dated 1762, and a partial remnants of the crown GR.  The brass butt plate, trigger  guard and side appear to have been original to a military piece.  The 37 1/4" barrel has had most of the proofs obliterated, while the othe parts are from a commercial or civilian source.  The military parts could be used in a proper restoration.  A Quebec modified and or built trade piece from the early 1800's.  Antique, no permit required to purchase or own.
