• Description:

  Antique percussion 1809/39 musket converted to percussion from it's original flint.  The lock plate shows the filled holes relating to the conversion.  This piece shows it's original and correct 56 1/2" overall length and it's 41" barrel.  The butt plate shows corrosion that oblitatered unit markings.  Sound working lock.  The bore is typically rough but shootable with the correct light loads.  Consult your gunsmith prior to shooting any antique firearm.  An overall sound example.  Antique Status.
