Prussian 1889 Cavalry Officers Sword

• Description:

  An excellent example of a calvary sword with original scabbard and dress knot.  The etched blade shows all original finish with the left side showing calvary troops in combat and the right regimental markings (1 Mestf) No 8.  The hilt shows a foiling side guard with a Prussian eagle.  The ribbed grip remains in excellent condition.  Calvary of this era are scarcer than other German units.
