Excellent condition British powder horn. The brass spout is marked with bronze arrow over W.D. war dept. marking. Sound excellent horn with no cracks or breaks. Sound unpolished spout and excellent ork base and plug. Note: the WD marking was approved mid 1770's. These horns were used by army and navy from the time of introduction up to 1850-1860's era. A better than average exaample.
