Pair of British war relief pins. These show the standing lion under the crown with blue, red and white ribbons. They are marked God and My Right in French. Gold flashed and enamel paint,they are marked on the back "Official B.W.R.S., and built by Accessocraft (NY City) for the British War Relief Society, 1939-1945. This Society was based in America and raised funds to support the British war effort. These pins were given to the contributors as a token of appreciation for their donation. At some point in time, the IODE in Canada(Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire) joined the effort. These pins were found in Nova Scotia,Canada in one place, having been there since the end of WW2. The pair is made up of 2 pins slightly different in size and attachment. More than one pair available. The price is $25 for the pair,tax & shipping included.
