Unique pair of Nova Scotia built 28 gauge shotguns which we acquired about 30 years ago. The almost matching pair SN 1 & 2 were built by a local gunsmith in southwest Nova Scotia.Both guns show 28 gauge barrels that chamber 2 3/4"shells. Gun #1 shows a barrel measuring 24 5/8" while #2 measures 25 1/8. Both guns have overall length of 40 1/4". Gun #1 shows a 6 3/4 forewood while #2 shows a forewood length of 6 1/4" as well as a small compass mounted in the stock. A unique pair of 28 gauge shotguns built by a rural gunsmith circa 1960-1970. Note: We have not fired these weapons and recommend any purchaser have the guns examined and test fired by a qualified and licensed gunsmith. Sold as a pair and as is described condition.
