Original SS Belt Buckle Swastika Removed

  This is an original die struck WWII era steel SS buckle. This piece correctly shows no RZM or proof marks. The reverse shows 50% of the silver -grey wash. The front face shows crisp high relief details. The swastika at the center was intentionally removed at some post war period of time. This piece was brought back by a Canadian soldier who was posted in German in the 1950's which probably explains the filed off swastika . Guaranteed to be authentic,this would be an excellent example if it had not been defaced.
